Man pleads guilty to murdering his father

A 64-year-old Burlington Junction man has pleaded guilty to Murder in the 2nd Degree in connection with the January 25th death of his father.

According to a report from Nodaway County Prosecuting Attorney Robert Rice, Lawrence Wayne Davison caused the death of his 88-year-old father after repeatedly striking him during an argument. Davison's father suffered head trauma from a brain bleed and other injuries.

Sentencing has been set for Tuesday, December 3rd at 3:30 before Circuit Court Judge Roger Prokes at the Nodaway County Courthouse.
